[glow=red,2,300]Welcome To The Art of Flying[/glow]
I assume all of you are here because you want to learn the art of flying. Well good, you're in the right place. I'm your professor, Arienne Devereaux. The rules here are simple.
Thats all I ask.
Supplies
For this class there is no textbook needed, nor will you need your own broom as the school will supply them. If you choose to bring your own broom, as many of the 'house' brooms are quite old, that is perfectly fine. From time to time I may ask you to take notes, so please bring a quill, ink and parchment to each lesson.
Lateness
Please try to come to class on time. It's not that hard. I will not take away points for a single latness, however being constantly late to class is unacceptable, and will result in a loss of house points. When starting a new class thread, I usally make it so that there is plenty of time before the actual lesson begins.
Absences
Life happens. The only thing I ask is that you try and read the entire thread so that you are caught up if you miss a class. I am ususally pretty relaxed when it comes to this stuff, so if it isnt a consistent thing no points will be taken away. Again, if it becomes consistent, I may give you an assignment or take points away from your house.
Participation
Participation is mandatory for every lesson. All lessons will be practical so it is important you show up, and stay throughout the entire class period. ((This means your character must join in each lesson)) Also, there will be some homework from time to time, but not much. All assignments should be owled (PMed) to me. This class is really not that hard and each of you should maintain E's and O's with ease. Classes will be once a week. House points will be given out sometimes during class for participation, and in the event of a homework assignment.
If you have any questions, this would be the place to ask them.
