I think you can do much better than me
After all the lies I made you believe
Guilt kicks in and I start to see
The edge of the bed
Where your nightgown used to be
I told myself I wouldn't miss you
But I remembered
What it feels like beside you
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
After all the lies I made you believe
Guilt kicks in and I start to see
The edge of the bed
Where your nightgown used to be
I told myself I wouldn't miss you
But I remembered
What it feels like beside you
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
So, she was here once again, yet, everything remained abandoned just like before. The sky was grey and everything looked gloomy. Nothing felt right anymore. Everything felt wrong. She wanted to scream. Of course, she couldn't.
The memories she had here. She wasn't as lovable anymore. She was less actually. She was in a right state. She looked half dead. A faded memory that was waiting for be washed away. She had make up on which was now smuged due to tears.
She had no more tears to shed. She'd lost them all in the amount of months she'd hid, crying. There where so memories she kept quiet. Her life had been a living nightmare. It was like she was the only person who'd changed.
A seventeen year old girl. Looking dead, ill, pale and alone. All she did these days was sing songs to herself. Before she played the guitar but quit.
So here Ruby was, at the lake. Her dark eyes looking across the glamorus lake that no longer shone in the light anymore.
While looking through your old box of notes
I found those pictures I took
That you were looking for
If there's one memory I don't want to lose
That time at the mall
You and me in the dressing room
I found those pictures I took
That you were looking for
If there's one memory I don't want to lose
That time at the mall
You and me in the dressing room
Not being able to tear her veiw away from the lake, she dipped her pale hand in it, spinning it around. So, she had foster parents now which hated her guts because of 'changes' and they only wouldn't let her go back to Hogwarts but Ruby had ran away. Saw many things on her journey which had changed her alot.
I told myself I won't miss you
But I remembered
What it feels like beside you

What it feels like beside you
Taking her hand out of the freezing lake, Ruby pulled her legs up to her chin and leaned her head on her knees, remaining in this lonely position.
A few words managed to come through her mouth in the form of lyrics silently.
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me

And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
