OOC: I will be telling you how to play and some rules we have. First, I will explain the chaser's job and how he plays. The chasers, 1, 2, and 3, will pass and shoot the Quaffle. The chasers will decide who is which number before the game. The chaser with the Quaffle will say(for instance he is chaser 1 and he wants to pass to chaser 2) Chaser 1 passes to Chaser 2. Then whoever is chaser 2 will say Chaser 2 grabs Quaffle. Chaser 2 has to say this before one of the other team's chasers says Chaser(whatever number) steals Quaffle. So for an example, here we go..."Chaser 1 passes to Chaser 2. Chaser 2 catches Quaffle." Then if you want to steal the Quaffle, you must say Chaser(whatever your number is) steals Quaffle. They only time you can say this is after the other team passes the Quaffle and before the target catches it. (This requires some good typing abilities.) If a chaser wants to shoot the Quaffle, he must type Chaser(whatever number) shoots at goal 1, 2, or 3. Then he says Chaser(whatever number) scores. He has to say this before the Keeper says Blocks goal(which ever goal the chaser shot at) or else the goal was blocked and the Keeper gets to throw the Quaffle to one of the chasers on his team. A chaser can steal the Quaffle when the Keeper passes it to a chaser.
Now on to the Keeper. All the Keeper has to do is block the goals and pass the Quaffle to one of his chasers once he blocks a goal. When a chaser shoots the Quaffle towards one of the goals, the Keeper has to say "Blocks goal(whatever number the chaser shot at)" Then he would have blocked the shot and he now has possession of the Quaffle. He then must say Keeper passes to Chaser(whatever number he wants to pass to.)
Now on to the Beater. The Beater's job is to deflect the Bludger away from his team and towards the opposite team. At the start of the game, the Bludgers will randomly fly towards an anonymus person. Then the Beaters on that team try to deflect it. The Beaters commands are..."Beater(1 or 2) delfects Bludger towards Beater(1 or 2). That would mean that one of the Beaters on one team deflected the Bludger towards a beater on the opposite team. The Beaters can deflect the Bludger to any person on the opposite team. Perhaps one team's Beater deflected the Bludger towards a chaser. He would have to say Beater(whatever number he is) deflects Bludger to Chaser(whatever chaser he wants to hit). The opposite team's Beaters have to say Beater(whatever number they are) deflected Bludger toward (then whoever they want to hit on the opposite team.) If a Beater wanted to hit a chaser, after he said the command, he would have to say Bludger hit (whoever he shot the Bludger towards). If a Beater deflects a Bludger towards a person and he says Beater(whatever number) hit whoever his target was, then the target would not be able to do any commands until either side tried to score. Once one of the sides tried to score, the person who was hit could now move again. The team does not have to score, all they have to do it shoot the Quaffle towards the goal. If a chaser had possession of the Quaffle and he was hit, any of the other team's chasers could say the "steal command" and steal the Quaffle from him/her. If a keeper is hit, he can't block any of the goals shot at him.
On to the Seeker...the Seeker just has to sit back and watch the game until the commentator or myself says "Snitch Sighted". Once one of us says that, the seekers have to say Seeker Catches Golden Snitch. The seekers have to say that before either me or the commentator(whoever said Snitch Sighted) says "Snitch Disappeared". If the Seeker does not say his command before the Snitch disappears, then the Seeker did not catch the Snitch and he or she has to wait until the Snitch is sighted again. Catching the Snitch will result in ending the game and 150 points to the team who's seeker caught the snitch. It is good to have a back up team because the game can last for a long time without anyone catching the Snitch.
After about an hour or so of gameplay, the game will end no matter if the Snitch was caught or not. No one will get the 150 points and the team who has the most points will win. If you have any questions about anything Quidditch related then please send me a Private Message. Thanks.
