Saren had finally made it to the castle and into the Hospital Wing, her wand pointed at her leg to keep the blood under control. She did get a chance to wash up and change robes at the southern end of the loch, but she couldn't heal her own wounds properly, and this one was a very old one that opened regularly. The nursewitch saw her and sighed, ordering for her to lay down at a bed while she got a sponge and a healing potion, cleaning the wound before putting the tonic in drops over the open wound, ignoring Sarentegra's stifled gasps of pain.

Nocturne curiously poked her head through the doorway of the hospital wing, still unsure of what was contained in each room. She was shocked to find Saren, injured, and lying on a bed with a nurse tending a wound on her leg. "Saren...?" She asked unsurely, standing at the doorway.

Saren jolted up, only to be shoved back down by the surprisingly strong older woman, a grunt escaping her lips. "Oh...'ey there Nocturne," she said sheepishly, wincing as the potion seared through the bacteria that had started to overcome her leg- the Forbidden forest was not a great place to have an injury.

Nocturne slowly walked in, "What happened?" She asked curiously, stopping a few inches away from the bed, making sure the nurse-woman had space. "How did you get that?" She asked, indicating the wound.

She sighed, not really having wanted to get into this sort of subject with Nocturne. "I...I fell an' landed on some glass," she lied quickly, not really wanting to lie to Nocturne, but feeling that she had no choice. After all, too many people knew that she was a werewolf after the whole Connor incident.

Nocturne raised an eyebrow, staring at the wound, "But, it looks to big for a wound from glass..." She said doubtfully, but decided to shrug it off, doubting her newest friend would lie to her. "But if you say it was glass, it must've been glass." She said with a light shrug, grinning at Saren. She sat on the next bed looking at various moving pictures, still finding it extraordinary.

She sighed inwardly and gripped the sheets as the last of the potion went into her wound. True, it was a pretty bad lie, seeing as the injury went to the bone, hidden by muscle and nerves trying to regenerate, but it was possible...if it was a large sheet of glass. Thankful that Nocturne wouldn't press the subject any farther, she smiled over at her. "Hurts li'e bloo'y 'ell though," she remarked with a grimace.

Nocturne looked at the wound, "I bet it does." she said, observing Saren's pain from where she was sat, "I hope its not hurting you too much though." she added, concerned as she watched Saren's reactions to the potion.

She put on a brave facade for Nocturne and brushed back her hair, glad that her other scars had taken to the magic she had placed on them earlier and were hidden from view. "No' terribly...an' this lot'll clear th' pain up righ' quick," Saren assured her young friend brightly.

Nocturne frowned slightly, before grinning, "As long as you wait for it to fully heal, you should be better than ever." she said with a grin.

"I 'ope so," she replied, moving so that she could prop herself up by her elbow on her pillows, hating the feeling of just lying flat on her back while still concious, her gray eyes at a tired and pained state.

Nocturne leant back on her arms, unsure of what to say. She looked around the room, before she spoke, "Have you been in here before?" she asked, indicating the hospital wing.

Saren drank from the goblet the nurse gave her, feeling the burning sensation of fire whiskey, which dulled pain for Sarentegra better than any magic, slide down her throat and she gave a happy sigh, always the one to drink. "A few times...ye'll be in 'ere even'ually- mis'aps in Potions, Transfiguration, an' Charms tend t' b' th' number one cause a'side fro' Quidditch."

Nocturne couldn't help but frown, "Quidditch injuries get you in the hospital wing?" She asked, paling. She sighed, "I'm guessing wizards and witches probably get more injured than muggles" she said, before she looked to Saren curiously, "To what extent do spells go? surely they can't have ones that kill instantly, because then there'd be no wizards or witches left... or muggles for that matter."

"Some o' 'em do- mos'ly Bludger wounds, tho- I've go'en qui'e a few to the 'ead in my day," she said with a soft laugh, remembering her team mate's expressions when they learned whom had brought their darling Chaser to the ground. "And the spells? Well...there's one tha' kills instantly- I won' say which, as it's 'orrible- they're illegal an' aren't supposed t' be used, bu' some spells go pre'y far, all things consi'ered."

Nocturne giggled, before her face turned shocked, "I bet some still use it though, depsite the fact that its illegal..." she said slowly. she couldn't shake the fact that s curse that killed instantly was even created; it was immoral.
